Special Notes[]

  • Veritas the Sage's damage will double every turn.
  • He will steal burst during the first turn. If you attack him with with elements that he is not strong against, he cannot steal your burst.
  • "Your _____ power is at risk" will tell you what he is strong against. The color of his aura can also tell you what he is strong against.

Tips & Strategy[]

  • Take Veritas out quickly! He does little damage at the start of the battle, but can get exponentially more powerful as time goes on.
  • When facing Veritas in Death's History-4, be sure not to use any fire element cards to attack him. It will give him an opportunity to steal your burst.
  • When facing Veritas in Under The Divide-4, be sure not to use any water element cards to attack him. It will give him an opportunity to steal your burst.
  • When facing Veritas in Realm of Death-4, be sure not to use any earth element cards to attack him. It will give him an opportunity to steal your burst.
  • When facing Veritas in Parting Ways-4, attacks from all elements except null will give him an opportunity to steal burst. In this case, you will have to make do with whatever deck you are using. It's best to attack the smaller enemies on each side of him, preferably starting out slice units to make sure not to hit him accidentally. Your burst gauge will build up much faster during this stage, so be sure to do this first before activating the burst gauge to inflict massive damage. If he does survive, he will steal nothing, anyway, as your gauge will be already empty. A well-built team with passive skills using team buffs and/or enemy debuffs, as well as good assist units from your union members, should take him out in a short period of time without much trouble.
