Breaks and LoyaltyEdit

Breaking a unit will allow you to increase its HP (health) and ATK (attack power) past its original max stats. As with enhancing and evolving, you will need to set a base unit. Breaks also cost Spirit Gems, used in order from weakest to strongest.

Spirit Gem [ATK] will increase Attack Power. Spirit Gem [HP] will increase HP.

Spirit Gems are further defined by their size. Here they are listed in order from weakest to strongest.

  • S Spirit Gem
  • M Spirit Gem
  • L Spirit Gem

* A unit must be at max Loyalty (1,000) before you can set it as a base unit for a unit break.

* Loyalty increases whenever you use a unit in a quest or battle.

* Spirit Gems are included as a reward from battles and other events.

Limit Breaking a UnitEdit

Starting from a clean unit, it takes:

  • 20 (S) type spirit gems of either ATK or HP type before going onto (M) type gems.
    • +10 ATK Bonus per (S) Spirit Gem [ATK] used.
    • +30 HP Bonus per (S) Spirit Gem [DEF] used.
  • 10 (M) type spirit gems of either ATK or HP type before going onto (L) type gems.
    • +15 ATK Bonus per (M) Spirit Gem [ATK] used.
    • +45 HP Bonus per (M) Spirit Gem [DEF] used.
  • 6 (L) type spirit gems of either ATK or HP type before maxing out Limit Break capability on a unit.
    • +25 ATK Bonus per (L) Spirit Gem [ATK] used.
    • +75 HP Bonus per (L) Spirit Gem [DEF] used.
